The lockshield valve is used as a shut off valve or pre-setting valve on radiators.
The lockshield valve RRVR and RRVV is equipped with two cones, one for shut off and one for pre-setting.
Pre-seeting is carried out without draining the system.
The lockshield valve is restricted so that the cone cannot be unscrewed unintentionally.
RVR and RVV is equipped with one cone for closing and has an o-ring of EPDM rubber.
Max shutting pressure
Recommended pressure drop
NOTE! Only applies to RRVR/RRVV
Unscrew the cap.
Check that the shut-off spindle (the outer) is unscrewed. Pre-setting is done with the help of an allen key (3 mm).
The pre-setting spindle (internal) is unscrewed from bottom position to the number of turns according to the pressure drop diagram. When pre-setting is complete the cap is screwed back on.
When closing, screw the shut-off spindle (the outer) completely to the bottom with an allen key 5 mm.
When opening, unscrew the outer spindle completely.
