The pressure independent control valve TOV is used in secondary heating and cooling systems. Appropriate applications are fan air heaters, chilled beams, injection units and as a circuit valve in 1 pipe systems. TOV can be controlled with electric actuators as well as in some applications with a thermostatic head.
The TOV control valve has three functions; Preset, differential pressure control and control. The functions are combined, which allows the TOV independent of the available maximum pressure. Together with a modulating actuator, good controllability is guaranteed throughout the stroke. The TOV is equipped with testpoints for flow control and the possibility of pump optimization.
TOV’s compact and unique design provide a space-saving valve which requires low differential pressure for full modulating control. The TOV is equipped with blue protective hood for shutdown and protection of spindle and presetting.

The pressure independent control valve TOV is set on top of the valve . The valve is marked with “LOW” or “HIGH” which is the stroke length. “LOW” is 2.5 mm and “HIGH” is 5 mm.
