One-hole valve Fellingsbro M68 – standard

Area of use

RFA 470, 490, 530, 550 replaces Fellingsbro TKM and M68 c/c35 1- or 2-pipes bottom connected valves.
The valves will be regulatde with thermostatic head or handwheel M28x1,5.

Description

The RFA valve has an exact pre-setting function, placed inside the stuffing box. Pre-setting in 2-pipe system can be carried out using a FN2 key or the pre-setting tool FV5 (se baksidan). Distribution of the flow (1-pipe) between radiators and by-pass will be made with the FN2 key. Turn the number of turns that shows in the tabel radiatorflow 1-pipe. The valve is delivered with 1/3 flow against the radiator and 2/3 in the loop. The valve is set to 2-pipe system and can be changed to 1-pipe system.The valve has M22x1,5, M18x1,5, M21x1,5 or M24x1,5 connections. The connection to the radiator is 3/4″. The return will be closed with the spindle under the cover, the flow will be locked with the manual wheel. The by-pass will be closed.

Preset

Pre-setting FN2 key
The valves are equipped with a insert with concealed pre-setting. Dismantle the stuffing box with the push rod (use the top of pre-setting key FN2). Place the pre-set-ting key with the bordered end down in the pre-setting sleeve and screw it carefully to the bottom (clockwise). Screw up the pre-setting sleeve to the desired kv value according to the diagram. Assemble the stuffing box push rod.

Pre-setting FV5

  • Dismantle the stuffing box with the push rod (use the top of pre-setting key FN2).
  • Place the pre-setting key with the bordered end down in the pre-setting sleeve and screw it carefully to the bottom (clockwise).
  • Remove the pre-setting key and mount the presetting tool (FV5) over the insert splines and replace the pre-setting key through the tool.
  • Reset the scale to the index marker.
  • Screw up the pre-setting sleeve so that the desired kv value coincides with the index marker.
  • Assemble the stuffing box push rod.

Distribution bypass

Bypass distribution will be done in the spindle below with a Allen key 2,5 mm. Open the bypass the number of turns in the diagram below. The valve is set xxx turns at delivery.
